Construction Notice: Big Dry Creek Otero Tributary Channel Improvements

Where: Located within the Highlands 460 Subdivision just downstream (north) of E. Phillips Avenue on the Otero Tributary of Big Dry Creek.

What/Why: Stabilization of approximately 900 linear feet of Otero Tributary, including a series of boulder step drops, earthwork, and revegetation to improve the function and safety of the stream to convey anticipated flood flows.

When: Construction is expected to begin November 2021 and should be completed by May 2022, the actual completion of all construction activites is contingent upon weather conditions during the construction timeframe.
